Neither. Time is computed on the server, so refreshing cannot change it in either direction. Where option order is randomised it is derived from your attempt, so a refresh re-presents the identical paper.

Yes, unless a particular examination has been configured to forbid it. You can also flag a question for review; the palette shows at a glance which questions are answered, flagged and untouched.

The attempt is submitted automatically with everything you had saved. Because answers save as you make them, the final submission does not depend on you pressing anything.

No. Correct answers and explanations are never sent to the browser while an attempt is open, whatever the page requests.

Marks are held as integer thousandths of a mark and never as floating-point numbers, so a total is exactly reproducible. Where an examination applies negative marking or partial credit, the rules that applied to your paper are shown to you before you start and again on your result.

Yes. Examinations have a formal objection window. Where an objection is upheld, the question is dropped or its key corrected, and every affected result is recomputed — not just the result of the person who objected.

A quiz is a learning aid, so it reveals the answer and a worked explanation once you submit. An examination is a record, and what is revealed afterwards is set by the body running it.

By exactly the same engine and the same code path. The difference is in the rules around them: a quiz allows retries and reveals answers afterwards, an examination generally does neither.

Yes, once you are enrolled. Reviews from people who have not enrolled are not possible — the platform enforces that at the database level rather than by asking.

Course completion issues a certificate with a verification code and a public verification page, so it can be checked by somebody who does not have an account.

No. Compensatory time, scribe permission and exemptions are configured against your record or your category in advance, and applied automatically when your attempt starts.
