Rules of use
What the platform requires of you, and what it does in response. Written from the code that enforces it.
These are operating rules, not a legal contract.
This page describes what the software enforces. It does not set governing law, liability, refund terms or examination regulations — those come from the institution operating this installation, which must publish its own terms.
Your account is yours alone
Credentials identify you personally in an examination record. Sharing them, or sitting a paper as somebody else, invalidates the result and is a matter for the examining institution rather than for the software.
Sessions are per-device. Where an examination restricts concurrent sessions, opening a second one can terminate the first mid-paper — so do not sign in elsewhere while an attempt is open.
During an examination
- The paper you are shown is fixed when your attempt starts. It is recorded, along with every answer and its timestamp.
- Attempting to alter your own responses, timing or score outside the examination interface is detectable and treated as malpractice. The server is authoritative on all three, so it does not succeed.
- Where an examination forbids leaving the paper, navigating away is recorded and may be reported to the invigilator.
Course content
Course material belongs to the instructor or institution that published it. Enrolling grants you personal access to study it — not the right to redistribute, republish or resell it.
Video lessons are delivered through an external provider. Instructors are told plainly that an unlisted video URL is obscure rather than protected: anyone who obtains the link can watch it, and the platform cannot revoke that.
Reviews, questions and answers
Only enrolled learners can review a course, and the platform enforces that rather than asking. What you post is attributed to you and visible publicly.
Content reported by another user is reviewed by a moderator, who can hide it. Hidden content is never deleted, so a wrong decision is reversible and the record of the decision survives.
Results
A published result stands unless changed through the objection process. Where an objection is upheld, the correction is applied to every affected candidate and recorded — Examination Platform does not silently amend an individual result.
Availability
No uptime is promised on this page, and any figure claimed elsewhere on the site would be the operator's to stand behind rather than the software's. What the software does guarantee is narrower and more useful: if it becomes unreachable mid-paper, your saved answers and your remaining time survive, because both are held on the server.
